Eye Clinic Svjetlost is a state of the art ophthalmology clinic located in Zagreb, Croatia. It provides comprehensive and complete treatment of various eye conditions.

Founded nearly a decade ago, by Prof. Nikica Gabrić, MD, PhD, a prominent Croatian eye surgeon has created an outstanding specialized medical eye centre using the most up to date standards and procedures in modern facilities. With world-class clinical talents who are able to manage over 3000 ophtalmological surgical procedures yearly, they can proudly say that they are the leading ophthalmology clinic in the region.

The clinic has three major departments: refractive and corneal surgery department with eye bank, cataract and glaucoma department and retinal department. Each department has several exam rooms, diagnostic spaces and a large and spacious waiting room for patients. On the fourth floor, one and two bedroom apartments for patients requiring over night stays with 24h nurse care are available. On the fifth flour there is a preparation room with state of the art monitoring equipment for all those awaiting surgery or recovering from it. Two spacious and modernly designed operating rooms are equipped with high class operating microscopes and phaco and vitrectomy machines. The air and temperature in the operating rooms is carefully monitored and controlled. On the sixth flour there is a conference room with teleconference equipment enabling live video and sound transmission from the operating rooms and other conference rooms via the internet.
